HISTORY

Before becoming a modern state, even before colonization led by the Spanish conquest, the Argentine territory was inhabited by nomadic indigenous communities. The arrival of Columbus in 1492 marked the beginning of the Spanish colonization. 

                                          

                                             CULTURE

Buenos Aires is one of the great capitals of the theater. The Teatro Colón is a national landmark for opera and classical music.

                            GASTRONOMY

Argentina's cuisine is highlighted by a special ingredient in almost every meal: meat. The "grills" are typical restaurants that served roast and other  dishes own country.

                                 

                              FOLKLORE

Inside the country the popular music is folklore, which is a lot of dances and different rhythms like Cat, Chamamé, Zamba, Chacarera, Malambo, etc. The most important folk festival in the country are the Festival of Cosquín and Jesus Maria, both in the Province of Cordoba.

 In sport, Argentina is known for his passion for football, with big stadiums that are already part of the major tourist attractions in the country. But even though football has become the most popular sport in the country, the fact is that the national indigenous sport is duck.
